Corn Fiber Tall Storage And Feed (2009)

This installation in Blair, Nebraska uses the Kamengo Feeder to discharge wet corn fibre from a 65-foot tall bin into a screw conveyor.

The corn fiber is a residue from corn after extraction of sugar. The material is wet, mushy and highly compactible, making it a very difficult flowing material. The Kamengo Feeder is powered by a 20HP hydraulic power unit, and can discharge up to 100 tons per hour of material.
