Recycled Gypsum

Kamengo has developed a design practice capable of tackling complex projects, including retrofits of storage and feed arrangements that suffer from plugging.

Recycle gypsum consists of waste board that is typically crushed, screened and re-introduced into the gypsum board manufacturing process.

The material can have a high moisture content from being stored outside.

In service are two front-end loaded hoppers and Kamengo Feeders being used to discharge recycled gypsum. The first installation was put into service in 1995, and continues to provide reliable service. The Feeder is able to deliver a consistent metered stream of material at even the low discharge rate required by the board manufacturing process.
